Essential Skills and Competencies for the Future of Finance:
The last decade has been defined by technological advancements, rapidly evolving market dynamics, and increasing stakeholder expectations. The expectations from and the role of finance and Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) has continued to experience a profound transformation and a growing decision-making complexity, the need for faster analysis and more accurate decision making.
Ash Noah will present the findings of the Association based on the Future of Finance 2.0, the essential skills and competencies that today’s finance leaders must address to take their teams beyond financial stewardship and play a strategic role in improved decision making to drive long-term value creation.
De Vrij-Mi-Knows zijn online sessies op de vrijdagmiddag van 16:00 tot 17:00 uur, exclusief voor VRC-leden. Iedere vrijdag staat een ander onderwerp centraal. De sessies worden gegeven door academici, executives of samenwerkingspartners van de VRC Finance Academy. In de sessies wordt ingezoomd op hoe theoretische kennis kan worden toegepast in de relevante praktijk. Dit biedt de mogelijkheid om met mede registercontrollers te sparren en ideeën uit te wisselen. Na het plenaire gedeelte blijft de sessie open om eventueel met de spreker en de andere deelnemers te discussiëren.
Over de docent/spreker
Ash Noah, CPA, FCMA, CGMA, is the Vice President and Managing Director of Learning, Education, and Development at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA & CIMA). In this role, he leads the development of research, examinations, and learning products for the Management Accounting Unit, ensuring that the Association’s Finance Competency Framework, syllabus, and learning solutions remain effective and relevant to the practice of management accounting. ?
Prior to his current position, Ash served as the CFO for the International Unit of TNT, a global express logistics provider, where he led finance transformation initiatives across 45 countries. He is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), a licensed U.S. CPA, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Ash holds a degree in accounting from the University of Derby. ?
